As we work from our own home office studio and for a variety of reasons, we have had to take the difficult decision to NOT TAKE ON any NEW Website projects during this ongoing process. We are always available to manage and support websites for all of our customers throughout this process.

Easy Steps - to get your website online
After our initial conversation we will ask you to complete our online website design brief / questionnaire. Our design brief / questionnaire is a set of questions designed to gather the information we require to ensure you get the best possible service and product that we can provide. The questionnaire can be completed online in around 10 minutes or within Microsoft Word or printed out for completion by hand.
Please don’t be concerned, our website design brief / questionnaire is in simple plain English. We try our best to keep the techno jargon geek speak to a minimum.
Before completing the questions, try and decide on your website requirements: The number and type of pages required: Home Page, About Us, Blog, Photo Gallery, Testimonials etc. Decide on static images or a rotating image gallery. Forms – Contact Form , Booking Form, Appointment Form. Location Map, Email Addresses, Document Downloads, Accreditation Logos etc.
Once we have established your requirements and provided you with prices, if you are keen to proceed we will email you an invoice for a $100 non-refundable deposit. Once this has been received we will get to work developing your website with your input.
You should start to gather your content together (this is normally sent to us remotely via Email, Dropbox, We Transfer or alike).
What we need from you:
This requires us to create a good working relationship. We need your ideas, logo, business details, text content, and image material such as photos and or any graphics you may have.
IMPORTANT – Your website content (logo, text, images, documents etc), should be provided to us within 1 calendar month of the project start date (the project start date is the date your deposit is paid). We can assist with photos and writing your text copy if needed.
As soon a we receive your deposit we will get to work developing and refining the design with your input.
You will be emailed a link so you can keep an eye on your new website whilst it is being developed. We pride ourselves on our personal service and value your input.
Once the design process is complete we will ask you to complete a final check of the text content. Your website will be checked for any errors and tested for any potential bugs prior to going live. Once we are both happy, we will upload all the website data to the hosting server for live viewing and editing. You can now start using and advertising your website.
Once your new website is live we recommended that you perform some basic Off-page SEO. We can assist here if required.
This involves submitting your website domain, business details and address to A variety of search engines and directories as well as Google, Yahoo and Bing.
Creating quality link backs to your site and spreading its web presence. This can involve a number of things, including an active social media campaign (Facebook, Twitter, You Tube etc). Maybe maintaining a good quality blog with regular posts, listing your website link in relevant industry websites and generally creating link networks back to your site.
This all helps to get you found online and competing for FREE traffic within search engines.

Our overheads are kept to a minimum working from our home office studio and we have carefully sourced and selected our partners to work with. We don’t operate from an expensive office building and we have our own in-house graphic designer. We work remotely whenever possible, this not only keeps cost down but also enables us to create you a website regardless of your location.
Website Design fees are a one off cost. Further fees will apply if you request us to make further design changes or add additional pages later.
Your Domain Name and Website Hosting must be renewed yearly to keep them operational.
Off Page SEO – if you have some computer knowledge and a day or so spare your can action this yourself if you are on a tight budget.
Yes you can is the simple answer! If you select QPM Design to host your site, we can provide you with control panel access to maintain and edit your website. The level of website editor varies depending on the hosting package you go with.
If you decide to host your website with another provider you will need to check with them that you have access to perform these tasks.
You can get your OWN personalised email address:- email@example.com when you register your domain name and sign up for a Hosting plan that includes email hosting. Owning the domain name entitles you to the email address, however, you will also need email hosting if you want to use your domain name to setup email accounts.
Using an email address like GreatHotel@xtra.co.nz looks unprofessional and is advertising Spark instead of advertising your business.
